Rug Care

By taking care of and cleaning your area rug, you will extend the life of the rug. Be sure to vacuum regularly and clean spills immediately by blotting affected area with a sponge or damp cloth. Professional cleaning is recommended.

Rotate your rug at least once each year, or twice if the rug is in a high traffic location. All rugs, even those that are well constructed and dense, will begin to show consistently traveled traffic patterns. By rotating the rug, these traffic patterns become dispersed throughout the entire piece rather than concentrated on one area, enabling the whole rug to wear at the same pace.

We recommend using a rug under pad to keep the rug from slipping. Learn more about Kalora underpads by visiting kalora.com/underpads.
